Akvileja - Visual Identity
Brand identity for Akvileja, a salad bar by Pi Le and Tommy Myllymäki on the fourth floor of NK. Set within a lush oasis, the restaurant serves hearty salads and fika inspired by the chefs’ favourite destinations around the world. The identity was created to capture a sense of quiet elegance, thoughtfulness, and understated sophistication.
The symbol is inspired by the name and shape of the Akvileja flower, whose distinctive silhouette resembles five birds arranged in a circle. This characteristic shape is reinterpreted in a simplified mark combining a stylized stem and bird, resulting in a symbol that feels both organic and refined.
